D. 70 is another—and it has the 22 or Ps. 119, the 22 of the Hebrew alphabet and what the letters mean.  Countdown, the first 70 days, is an overture of the whole, which is a countdown from Hebrews to Exodus (Christ: I go to Jerusalem to accomplish my demise (exodus (sic) in Greek).  The 1-49 of secondary Books O Day is a bigness of the Buildup of the last 49 days, the last 7 weeks, Blessed are the Peacemakers, Persecuted, Ye Persecuted (and associated woes). And the Seasons of the Beatitude are a second BuildUp, the words for our house of this era, as Tabernaclwe/Decalog, Temple/Psalms. 2/3. two BuildUps, one CountDown.

     A wise man (not the same one) has said that in one’s calling, one must continue.  One must drill a lot of dry holes. (It’s not the same in one’s occupation).

 

     So, MaeDay80 explanation.

 

    1—This is about curing dementias. And Curing Dementias. Individual and Social.

    2—First we confess inadequacies, then we get wisdom.

          a—Scientific method. Observe, hypothesis, test, conclusion/new hypothesis, etc.

          b—Business. Idea for product or service, model, test runs and ads, new model, etc.

          c—The Liturgy: Called in, Confess/Forgiven: Cleansed, Consecrated (Word),

                Communion, Commission.  This is also a chiasm.

          d. Romans 1, 1 John 1:9-10.

     3—Generally, dates get into the calendar after people die, but the demented elderly are

           very close to being considered dead to be warehoused; also, this is typological of

            much of the senile church. ‘Hardening of the categories.’

     4—A binary date.  80 days inclusive of Pascha/Easter, and July 4.

     5—In A. D. 2006 (K.O.L. 849) these occur on the same day.  Thus, we confess first.

           The conference presentations are later in the day.  In other years, whichever date

           comes first has the confession.

     6—Yes, this is consciously put in the celebration of the quintessential nation-state,

            echoing Gregory VII, per ERH’s conclusion that the nation-state had the duality

            of the church in it, with the investituture controversy resolved. (And too, the

            Papacy was the first nation-state!).

     7—In the third millennium, we aim at transient sacramental groups.

 

     8—What happens at the confession?  We start with responsive singing, for this responsive singing is a type of how we pray/sing that PAVVLLL/MaeDay80 will be the song to which the age responds in psalmodic song. Four things. A: We embody the Guilt, Grace, Gratitude (and GoForth+ added) of the Heidelberg Catechism as we walk around the square, starting at the southwest corner, going a block east on Guilt Street, then a block north on Grace Street, then a block west on Gratitude Street, then a block south on GoForth+ Street, back to where we started, knowing the place better.

          a—We make, thus, a Zero, as we circle the square.  Confession.

                 Triumph Disguised as Disaster.

          e—We also trace two other chronologies, the history of populations and causes of

                 increase and decline, since Creation (average age in these USA now is 43,                    when abortions are considered, less when miscarriages—Deut. 28?), and

                  history of care for elderly (Life magazine’s famous 1946 photos, and …).

 

      9—After this, we have conferences, presentations.  There are many things that could

     b—A reading, not acting, of Ibsen’s play, ‘An Enemy of the People’

 

     c—Medical transitions:  The Cult of the Saints, by Peter Brown and HomeSchool/HomeElderCare, and kaizen.

 

    d—Where are the Franciscans? The case for a parachurch ministry helping caregivers Protecting All Voiceless Vulnerable Lovingly Leadingly Limpingly PAVVLLL (for profit as a transient sacramental group?...) PAVVLLL is obviously a lot of puns on Paul and on language. This is speech is Calendar Dialect of Symbol, the Language, I pray.

 

     e—All can play the simulation games of what it is like to be a nursing home resident.   Director of Nursing, after playing, said, ‘I owe a lot of people an apology!’

 

     f—In a decade ½ of the expenditures of the Federal Government will be on the elderly.  Will this lead to bankruptcy…..or worse……?

 

 

10—This fits within the SuperCalendar (HOST), and is the result of a gaining of wisdom from an incomplete Symphony of History, solo, on Cure Alzheimer’s Now.

 

11—And there are a lot of puns and acronyms, both of which are holidays in words, mountains in life, etc.  Multi-perspectivalism embodied. Since we are between the 11^th and 12^th Days of history, this MaeDay80 aims to advance from societal/political resurrection at !. D. 70, to The Great Day of Cosmic Resurrection.  ‘Let everything that hath breath praise the LORD!’

The Twelve Steps--We're at 9

Dear Friends:

   I plan to have all 12 of these done before the end of the month.

   During the next academic year, a student and two helpers will aid in refining these for further dissemination.

   I pray that there will be '2000' who will carry on this 'new reality' before I die.

   What might be the 5 things that would be most rapidly used?

   I'd say, naming the days (and years) would be first.  these reflect the rality that we are not under the creation and/or 'gods' of parts of it now, but that the Church has been raised up to the firmament.

   Second would be the historical grids, all 3.

   Third would be the Prayer O' Day, with the Psalm O' Day.

   Naming the weeks might be 4th.

   Various holidays might be 5th, especially MaeDay80.

   The Symphony O' History as the 'new' form of knowledge, better than logic (Goedel), better than--or complementing and summarizing--grammar, logic, and rhetoric; and the Quadrivium--stands by itself.

PS: The Church limps through history, her triumphs disguised as disasters. The Christian Era is when liabilities are turned into disasters. When part of our history is ignored, it rises up again, to our detriment.

 

    

     #1 Naming days per the new reality that we are not ‘under’ ‘gods’ or creation, but the church is the firmament in Christ Jesus.

 

     #2 Naming the weeks per the 49-book Bible.

     #8 The Symphony of History fits into HOST, though it can stand alone.  What is The Symphony O’ History? It is a great comfort that Creation is musical, for when we seem to be a disharmonious note, we know that the Composer harmonizes all. Even rests and silences are important.

     Also MaeDay80 is a step, a pre-echo, toward and of the Cosmic Resurrection. Aka PAVVLLL, Protecting All voiceless Vulnerable Lovingly Leadingly Limpingly.

     These are VERY important, and are stand-alone things, as well as one with HOST.

We have seen that Revelation sums up the whole Bible, and we amen that with our names of days, since the churches correspond to 7 eras in Bible history. And also, Revelation typifies the time from A. D 30-A. D. 70 until The Great Day.  How is this a comfort, how does it help us know the signs of the times, and what we Israel ought to do?

Toward The New Peace

 

 

 

Dear Friends:

   We're working on this during lunch breaks at work.

   Your input would help. 

   Our goal is to list the biggest fragmenting things that a new institution, should integrate, outflowing from the peace that is Jesus Christ. JBJ says we?ve had three such, and are ready for a fourth.

    The three he tells in ?Crisis, opportunity, and the Christian Future? are Church, State, and University. 

 

   Peace is the explicit reconciliation of opposites.  This is seen in Christ, for He is God and Man, yet One, etc.

 

   Examples:  The church integrated tribes, Jew and Greek, male and female, bond and free as one in Christ Jesus.

 

   The State (kings, etc.) made peace in a territory, keeping vendettas down, and tribal and clan warfare down. E Pluribus Unum.

 

   The University integrated many subjects and many knowledgeable views in peace in one educational institution.

 

   The new institution may combine all three and transfigure them, as Christ is prophet, priest, and king; or it may be entirely new, a 4th type of thing. It could be a Sabbath or a 4^th word.

 

    Trinity will bring about what He wants, and we are not revelationally privy to that.  In other words, in some senses we don't know?we can?t know, but surely Paul and Peter and Charlemagne and Abelard saw fragmentation and attempted to integrate it: E Pluribus Unum--Out of many, one.

PS: Some candidates.  Increased knowledge, scientific journals?who can keep up? Control of energy?100 years ago few automobiles, e. g. Family disintegration as kids move across country. People don?t live near where they work now, don?t know neighbors. Corporations were illegal 100 years ago, now Wal-Mart is bigger than many countries. Wars are more destructive and could destroy the planet? Technology. We are very rich, richer as poor Americans than anyone 100 years ago. Exploring the solar system and beyond. Living longer. 6 billion people, 3x as many. Evolution, big bang, iconic gesture language theory, human genome mapping, various medical work that treats persons as things. The Industrial Revolution and other such. Money as digits, not paper entries, metals, etc. Loss of languages as tribes assimilated, possible climate changes, chemicals and electricity, changes n forests and seas and species.

Church, State, University?What Next?

 

When we figure out what might be coming next we can name this new era, and we can protect it.

 

The 3 major institutions formed after the Resurrection, according to Jim Jordan?s booklet ?Crisis, Opportunity, and the Christian Future? were the Church, the State, and the University.

 

These all seem to fit into the E Pluribus Unum mold.  Out of many, one.  For peace.

 

The Church conquered the many gods in favor of the Trinity.

The State reduced civil unrest in a larger territory, and in its best organization, was Trinitarian in division of powers into executive, judicial, and legislative.

 

The University kept a diversity of scholarly minds united on the one task of educating into the heritages above, and exploring new things.

 

Could I phrase the question, then, in another way?

 

What fragmentations need to be unified?

 

When we limn these, we will have some fruitful boundaries to our actions.

 

Let?s think about what has happened in the past 100 years.

 

Some of the things are a tremendous increase in population, faster travel and more trade, factory production of new products has greatly increased, the amount of knowledge and information such as scientific journals is magnified many-fold, there is more wealth?the poor have access to things the rich never dreamed of in previous centuries, we have explored the solar system and beyond, and we have had very, very destructive wars, with even more destructive weapons unused.

 

In the three chief covenant areas of church, civil magistrate, and family, we certainly have fragmentation, with family members living all over the world, neo-tribalism in ?government,? and many denominations. Joel News International reports on a conference n South Africa recently whose participants pledged to plant 20 million new churches by 2020.

 

And we have the anti-/non-trinitarian relations among and between medical practicioners, insurance and government, and patients and families. This could be important if our issues are life issues; that is, as we have gone forward by going backward, in ERH?s phrase, have we gone back to creation and the Big Bang and are we now moving toward the 6^th day?

 

This would fit in with either the Father era that JBJ?s indicates is the next phase of the continually re-spiraled spiral of emphasis successively on the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

 

It would also fit in with a summational, 4^th word, era, as in Jesus Christ dwelt the fullness.

 

It would fit in with ERH?s 3^rd Millennium. The first was concerned with the Heavens above (the Church), the second with the waters under the earth (science and politics), and the third is sociological-linguistic, he says.

 

I have written elsewhere on one proto-institution that might be a step, Protecting All Voiceless Vulnerable Lovingly Leadingly Limpingly.

 

Drucker says that a business?incorporation, compare incarnation?provides two services, marketing and innovation. Marketing is akin to paying the bride price, in a 3-way transaction such as the Cross, in which the Son gives to the Father, who gives the Holy Spirit as inheritance ahead to the Church, the Daughter, the Bride.

 

Further study of marketing expert Jay Abraham?s principles will be profitable.

 

In that way, the innovation of the new institution that names and protects (Adam?s 6^th day, and 7^th day, tasks) can be used in making peace in this 3-way process, akin to the Trinity.

Friends:

   I have previously written hat the protection of elderly can possibly be seen as a type of the protection we are to give all voiceless, vulnerable.

  If so, it echoes the protection the early church gave to babies abandoned to death, and the protection Gregory VII gave to bishops in the investiture controversy.

   I wrote to a forum of which I am a part, that if there is to be a new institution, it must also echo Jordan's three--church, state, university.

   The key to the church was the defeat of 'gods' in favor of The God, Trinity.

   But we have a non-/anti-Trinity in medical care in these USA. [But not necessarily where the church is growing greatly, for there are reports of miracles of prayer in healing]. The doctors are assailed by patients expecting perfection, and by insurance companies/governments as third-party payors.  They have no time.  The governments/insurance companies suspect patients and doctors.  The patients fear financial ruin, etc. from the other two.

   This is the opposite of the Trinity, in which each person, being fully God, yet glorifies and humbles to the other two.

   For better medicine, we need to recover the Trinity in this way.  This would transfigure the first 700 years, when the church conquered the other gods.

   The new institution builds on the old, as in Christ dwelt the fullness of the Godhead bodily.

   That's point one.

   Point two would be that there would need to be a vow.  We are familiar with church vows, and with vows to states.  The university professors, ERH says, were considered knights of learning (let's say--it resonates well with Knights of Labor) who took knightly vows.

   This vowing would at least change from Apollo and Aesculapius (sp?) to Trinity.

   The question now becomes, what do we do about it? 'It' being the non-/anti-Trinitarian relationships in medicine.

    I suggest that we view the present crisis through the prism of JBJ's 3 post-Resurrection stages to see what an era-engendering institution might emerge. JBJ says in 'Crisis, Opportunity, and the Christian Future' that the Church came first in @ 700 years of formation to a maturity, and then the Christian State, and then the University.

    I believe that we can see in the Church great changes, and in the Christian State and the University that they have become their opposites. Both seem to be in opposition to their origins.

    The Church is now world-wide, and the missionary effort in that regard has succeeded, says Just Gonzalez in 'Christian Thought Revisited.'

     Returning to the State, if Lind is to be believed (he posts a lot on LewRockwell.com) we are in 4th generation warfare, and the sword is being passed to non-state combatants.

     The university is certainly not the gatekeeper it once was. Witness this forum.

     Now, returning to JBJ's historical themes, he says that we have The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit emphasized in succeeding  eras. The 3 Falls, Abraham (Isaac) Jacob Joseph, Moses David Ezra, etc.

      Jesus Christ was He in Whom the fullness of the Godhead dwelt bodily, so there may be something about the 4th stage that is summational. Noah after the 3 falls would be another instance.  The 4th word as 'rest' might be another.

      And so, we might be in a mini-echo of a 4th era, in which the Church, the State, and the University are somehow summed up and transfigured in this new institution.  Oddly, the Church has moved in 2000 years from a tribe in the Roman Empire to a world-wide institution, yet ideologically tribal in many ways and denomination.

      The State. It appears in many ways that globalization and the ability of civil governments to control things would indicate that the State might be a world-wide organization, and yet 'the only superpower' is bogged down all over the world by tribal-type fighters. And then Lind's thesis comes in, that warfare now involves non-state organizations.

      The University universe and especially the brotherhood of science attempts world-wideness, but there are patents (Monsanto is attempting to patent the pig, someone wants to patent the human genome, etc.) and other rivalries, including the State.

      And the institution of the corporation has arisen. T. Roosevelt was a trust-buster 100 years ago. I wonder what he would think of Wal-Mart, or GE! Certainly these big corporations are more powerful than many nations, and universities, and churches. There is some dispute about whether the civil magistrate has morphed into a corporation model, from the personal model of a king. That is, is the state a big insurance company, or an insurance company a little state?

     And topping all this off is the great amount of energy under control, to use a generic word.  We have so much more power and riches; the average American is richer than anyone 100 or even 50 years ago, in many ways.

     So what institution might arise to answer these traumas, to bring together in one the qualities of the past eras?

    (The Church is forever, even in Heaven, of course, but I am speaking of temporal manifestation).

    I believe this 'So what institution...' question is the correct one, for we see that Creeds develop because of heresies, so institutions are birthed because of problems. (One example:  A scholar of science fiction stated that it arose so that we could cope with the changes of the Industrial Revolution, and now we are living in science fiction. That is, what was written has become our world. [Genesis parallel meant.])

    I'm thinking about it.  One part that I think will surely be there is covenant sequence(s). Another could relate to JBJ's statement that the Resurrection was personal, and A. D. 70 was social/political resurrection, and we are headed toward the cosmic resurrection.  Thus, something taking a step toward that...?

    That's as far as I can write at this time.

    I think this is important, to know the coming symbol of the coming era, and to shape it, as 'sons of Issachar, knowing the time's sign(s),' slightly rearranged for emphasis.

    And we would need to tranfigurationally apply the Trinity also, surely. And that ?The Church limps through history, her triumphs disguised as disasters.? Traumas are ?traum?s (dreams?ways God communicates wisdom.)
